There was a Blue Bird Mini Bird up for auction a few years back that I was tempted to bid on and it wound up going for ~$900. Regret. Based upon very common GM Step Side chassis.

They wanted way too much for this one. The last time I saw it was parked by the entrance to an RV park being used as a billboard. The same people own the park and the place that was selling it.

Maybe if it had all new running gear. I’d rather not have all the conversion crap and just build bunks and install curtains and have it be basic.

Also, if you check out the video I posted, I’d rather have the column shifter.

I noticed the column shifter. It reminded me of my grandpa’s truck. Three on the tree. I prefer a floor shifter.

I want all the conversion crap. I have hopes of touring the U.S. someday.

My ‘71 van has a three-on-the-tree and I bought a T-5 for it but the column shift is fun and nobody’s ever seen one?
